The Herren Project

The Herren Project, created by former NBA star Chris Herren was established to help addicts pay for their drug treatment. Since its inception, this charity has taken on a number of other causes such as creating sober cultures for school aged children and providing drug and alcohol free prom parties and events. The main goal this charity has is informing children at a young age about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. This charity is always looking for volunteers to help spread their message of hope and healing.

The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness

This organization pairs of with local Boys and Girls Club establishments to offer children a variety of sober activities. The money raised by this organization is put into PSAs and has funded the production of two children’s books.

Giving Back to Seniors This Holiday Season

Do you love working with the elderly? If so, there are a variety of organizations out there who provide meals for seniors during the Thanksgiving holiday. Helping these organizations prepare and distribute food is a great way to give back and make a lasting impact.

For years, the team at Odyssey Training Center have been helping local charities. We understand that in order to build a strong and safe community, everyone has to pitch in to help those who are less fortunate.
