What do you enjoy about training students at The Odyssey Center?
I enjoy watching people challenge their thinking and finding new ways to interact with the material. Odyssey continues to be a staple in the CAC/LAC training, and always has a high quality of trainers.
Why do you believe training in important for students to become effective addiction counselors?
It is important to understand not just what might lead people to use substances but also to understand how substances change your brain.
What experiences give you the passion for training?
-Member of the Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals
-Masters from the University of Denver in Forensic Psychology
-Experience with juvenile and adult men and women involved in the criminal justice system

I am a mother of three and have been working on building a Reiki practice, moving it into substance abuse treatment.
