Odyssey Training Center strives to create a professional, adult learning environment where real people learn real skills.

Our curriculum is designed to meet all the training requirements for the State of Colorado, Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) program. Please click the CAC requirements button in the menu for detailed information.

In addition to being approved by DBH for CAC, all Odyssey courses are approved for continuing education credit by NAADAC #344.

Selected courses are offered for the Colorado Domestic violence Provider certification's respective requirements.

Treating Dependence using Suboxone (Buprenorphine):

CAC's will learn:
• About how this medication works.
• How Suboxone is different than Methadone.
• What a client is talking about when they mention
"bups", "oranges"', "stop signs", or "pumpkins".
• About how the opioid receptors in the brain operate.
• How to network with medical referral sources.

Please attend this half day free seminar on advances in the treatment of opioid dependence using Suboxone.
