CAC Level 3 Course Requirements
Remember, a CACIII must have meet all of the CAC Level I and Level II requirements in addition to these course and work experience requirements. There are 4 required classes for CAC Level III certification, plus a Bachlors Degree in Behavioral Health Sciences/ Human Services

Clinical Supervision I (21 hours)
Advanced Motivational Interviewing (14 hours) Prerequisite is Motivational Interviewing
Clinical Supervision II (14 hours) Prerequisites are Advanced Motivational Interviewing and Clinical Supervision I
Professional Practice (7 hours)
CAC Level III Work Requirements
Level III Certification requires that you have 2000 hours of work/field experience in addition to the 1000 hours required for your Level I certification and 2000 hours required for your Level II certification, that have been supervised and signed off on by a CACIII. The total required hours for CAC Level III is 5000 hours.
