Date Founded:
On July 1, 1999, Odyssey Training Company Inc. becomes a registered corporation in the State of Colorado.

Locations:
The primary training facility and administrative offices are in Denver, Colorado with satellite training facilities in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado.

Description:
Odyssey Training Center is the leading regional training facility for healthcare practitioners seeking professional credentials and additional training in the field of substance abuse, dual diagnosis disorders, domestic violence counseling and adolescent treatment issues. Odyssey Training Center offers a full range of professional workshops which meet state and national certification guidelines. In addition, Odyssey Training Center offers a range of off-site training and consultation projects with healthcare facilities in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.

History:
In 1999 Odyssey Training Center acquired the training center assets of Arapahoe House, the largest substance treatment provider in Colorado. These assets included existing service contracts to provide training as well as a mailing list of over 6500 students and healthcare professionals. Odyssey assumed the lease of the downtown area training facility and administrative office with 3,500 square feet of space, as well as computers, database software, office and classroom equipment. Most importantly, Odyssey maintained the faculty of widely respected professionals providing the highest caliber of training in their area of expertise.

Strategic Partners:
A roster of over 25 healthcare facilities including, Arapahoe House, Aurora Mental Health, Boulder County Department of Health, Minnequa Community Corrections, Pikes Peak Mental Health, Colorado Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and the University of Colorado Health Science Center Addiction Research and Treatment Services.

Training Credentials:
Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD):
All CAC classes are ADAD approved for Level I, II, III CAC certification requirements.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC):
Odyssey Training Center is an approved NBCC provider (#5521) and all the workshops are NBCC approved for continuing education credit.

Domestic Violence Counseling:
All the domestic violence counseling workshops at Odyssey Training Center are designed for Domestic Violence Providers. The Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) does not pre-approve classes.

National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors:
Odyssey Training Center is an approved NAADAC provider (#344) and all the workshops are NAADAC approved for continuing education credit.
