from a cognitive-behavioral model will be presented. |

areas associated with brain chemistry imbalances. Those imbalances

| Tuition:
$90.00
Early

*Must

Time:
8:30am to 5:00pm, each day of class. |
Instructor:
Arlene
M. Green, LCSW, ACSW |
| If
you're working with people with substance abuse problems then you're
working with bipolar disorders. If you don't understand symptoms and
behaviors then you won't be able to effectively treat your clients.
Bipolar disorders affect 60% of the substance abuse population! A
staggering figure. Unfortunately severe depression and suicide are
often a prevalent concern. Related substance abuse problems are addressed
though this is not the primary focus. Through lecture, role-play and
discussion this frequently denied and commonly stigmatized, biological
disease will be more easily recognized for appropriate treatment. |
